Thanksgiving

It is estimated that between 143,000,000 and 210,000,000 children are orphans.  (UNICEF)  For reference, there are approximately 300,000,000 people living in the United States today.  I am thankful to have been born in this country and into my family.  I am very grateful to have family and friends.  Too often I get wrapped up in the drama of life and don’t fully appreciate how lucky I really am.  When you get a quiet moment, say a prayer for all those children.  They deserve so much more than the lot in life that they’ve received.
