Geraldine
Country Manager (Peru)

We knew Geraldine was special during our first interaction with her close to three years ago.  Her communication and translation skills were top notch. Paired with her innate kindness, calming presence, reliability, and partnership attitude, we were thrilled when she accepted our offer to expand her role within our organization. Please join us in welcoming Geraldine to the team!

“Hello, my name is Geraldine.I was born in the Andes of Peru (Cusco) and raised in the Amazon jungle where my love and respect for all forms of life and nature grew.  This connection with such a magical and mighty lash of green encouraged and inspired me to tap deeper into my curiosity.  That curiosity lead me to explore and experience other environments, cultures, and places.

I currently live in the Sacred Valley of the Incas with my 2-year-old daughter and my husband. I love travelling and meeting people from around the world. Every day I discover what this planet has to offer and share with us; its culture, its people, its energy!

The past two years I have worked with the PLB/NuttZo team as a translator during their yearly voluntour trip. It has been wonderful to witness how much can be done by joining forces. Their focus on love and taking care of the children has impressed me.

They say community feels more alive when people who live there, love it enough to care and help improve it. I am grateful for the opportunity to actively pour my love and care for our people through joining Project Left Behind.”
