Alexia Bregman

She knits, she dances, she plays the piano, she runs, she surfs, oh an she’s a mom of three and runs an energy drink company with her husband!  And now Alexia Bregman is also lending her philanthropic heart to Project Left Behind.  She will put on her strategic planning hat while serving on the board of directors.

We’re thrilled to welcome Alexia to the board. Her experience as an entrepreneur as well as her passion for helping children make her a perfect fit and someone who will have a great impact on our work.

South African-born Bregman has been entrusted with some of the world’s largest brands. Her career in advertising saw her rise to manage large teams, lead multi-million dollar accounts, and win new business, as she applied her entrepreneurial spirit to a triathlon race series, children’s toy company and running apparel business. Since 2008, she and her husband have focused their efforts on promoting Vuka Energy Drinks, one of the leading natural energy drink brands in the U.S.

In the philanthropic space, Bregman has worked with The Kempe Foundation and Cookies For Kids Cancer; as a CASA for Voices For Children; and as the chair of the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation, where she steered a restructure of the 17-year-old organization. She’s also been a board member of the RSF Community Center and the RSF Education Foundation Endowment.

Bregman is a long-time supporter of the Challenged Athlete’s Foundation, where she is currently engaged in strategic fundraising development, and she’ll run the 2016 New York Marathon as a guide for Achilles International.

Welcome Alexia!!!
